Pasir Ris MRT Stop

East West Line (EWL) > Pasir Ris

The Pasir Ris MRT stop is located in the central part of Pasir Ris New Town, one of the many residential areas in Singapore which comprises of many high-rise residential dwelling blocks. This stop can be considered a relatively quiet stop, but it does have a shopping mall called White Sands Shopping Centre, where you can do a bit of shopping and grab a bite.

If you want a little more ‘excitement’ at this stop, you could head down to NTUC Downtown East, an entertainment hub in its own right, albeit one of the not so exciting ones (if compared to Orchard Road or Resorts World Sentosa). It does, however, provide entertainment for families with young children and youths at a much affordable price.

NTUC Downtown East
At NTUC Downtown East, you would be able to find E!Hub, a 5 storey leisure/entertainment hub where you can do things like eat, bowl and catch a movie, and even do some (more) shopping. There is also a 25-metre Ferris Wheel indoors, which is more for children and those children at heart I suppose.

Then there is Wild Wild Wet, Singapore's largest water theme park, which features 9 distinctive rides (e.g. 3-storey high raft water slide) and facilities, with many other water attractions which children seem to love. More on the ticket pricing can be found at the Wild Wild Wet website.
