Fashion Steps Out @ Orchard 2012

Fashion Steps Out @ Orchard is an annual six-week fashion extravaganza with a slew of fashion and shopping related events on a mission to promote fashion for everyday use. This event showcases the latest Spring/Summer collections from participating brands Vivienne Westwood, Dsquared2, Dip Drops, Rosebullet, iCB, J.Press, Robinsons, Marks & Spencer, Just Cavalli, Paul & Joe and Maria Grachvogel around the globe. It is not just for the fashion industry and insiders, but for the shopping public as well; a shopping extravaganza promoting fashion for everyday use.

Touted to be the longest runway in Singapore, Fashion Steps Out @ Orchard 20012 is an outdoor fashion show featuring more than 150 regional and local models on an outdoor catwalk along Orchard Road, and is open to all members of the public. The 6-week event begins with fashion literally stepping out onto Orchard Road for the Opening Night on 17 March, where 100 regional and local models took to the runway in a fashion show of highstreet brands, set amidst alfresco café-style seating for VIPs, guests and shoppers.

Formerly known as Fashion Season @ Orchard,  Fashion Steps Out @ Orchard has evolved with a new look and vibe, creating renewed excitement for shoppers and the retail industry. With great buys from high-street brands at the Fashion Bazaar held at Mandarin Gallery from 23-25 March, as well as an Asian Model Search, where the public gets to play a part of the judging process deciding on the Next Face of Asia, this is one event not to be missed for fashionistas and shoppers. There are also fun and interactive Fashion Gets Real workshops where shoppers get to style themselves with the latest Spring / Summer styles and even get fashion tips from a panel of fashion experts.
