5 Star Hotel: Möevenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa

Update: The hotel was renamed Le Meridien  and in late October 2020 Le Meridien Hotel and Spa on Sentosa Island in Singapore announced that it was closing its doors, and re-opening as Oasia Resort Sentosa.

Möevenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa is situated on Sentosa, Singapore's resort island - a place where you can get to know the Singapore's vibrant history through the life-size displays at Images of Singapore or a leisure game of golf at Sentosa Golf Course close by, amongst other things like checking out the collections at nearby Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom Museum, shop and sightseeing at the Imbiah Lookout, and enjoy the attractions at Universal Studios Singapore, as well as admire the Merlion statue, an iconic figure in Singapore, an within walking distance of the hotel.

Möevenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa guests can relax in style by the outdoor infinity pool, or use the a boardroom and/ore grand ballroom, which is divisible into three ballrooms (for corporate and social occasions). To have a panoramic view of the area, you should not miss a ride on the Jewel Cable Car.

Möevenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa offers rooms and suites that support a lavish lifestyle, equipped with posh amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi access, safe deposit box, mini bar and LCD TV; with it signature Onsen suites (which will each feature a Japanese-style hot tub set in a tranquil outdoor sanctuary) and Penthouse Suites (which offer private rooftop pools) will open throughout 2012. There will be 19 Onsen Suites, three Executive Suites and two Penthouses. But for now, there are 105 well-appointed Deluxe Rooms, designed by the internationally renowned Japanese design company Super Potato.

All rooms are equipped with high-speed internet access with wireless connectivity, and feature LCD flat-screen TVs with an integrated multimedia system.

  1. I've only been to Singapore to change planes, but it's now firmly on my list of countries to visit properly. I've never thought about staying at a resort before, but this sounds great. I'd really like to book an Onsen suite.
