Novotel Platinum Pratunam Hotel Overview > Novotel Platinum Pratunam Hotel: Superior Room
For the last night, we made our way to the 24th floor to check out the
Premier Lounge. The view was excellent as it overlooked shopping malls such as
Central World and
Big C, with
Siam Paragon on the side. There were lots of roadside food stalls and stalls selling everything from clothes to accessories to toys.

Service was good and after we were asked for our room number, we were seated. Happy hour is from 5-7pm, but we gave the alcohol a miss and went for the refreshments and a nice cup of tea. There were not that many people at the lounge, which exuded an exclusive atmosphere. The lounge is open until 11pm.

Breakfast for the last morning of our stay was better than having it at the café on the 6th floor: being smaller in size than the café, the lounge is more private and there were not many people that morning for breakfast.

There were options for eggs (scrambled eggs, sunny side up, eggs benedict etc…) and crepes (savory and sweet). The variety for the breakfast buffet spread was not as wide as that on the 6th floor, but there was sushi and fresh sashimi. The variety though lesser was more exquisite.

The eggs benedict took a while to arrive, and when it arrived it was overcooked and dry. The presentation was adorable, but that was about it. |
|
While the eggs benedict was a little disappointment, the crepes that I
had (which was caramelized banana with nutella) was excellent! The
nutella was yummy and the crepe was nice hot and soft, the banana
slices although caramelized were not overly sweet and were a perfect
combination with the nutella. Just thinking about it now is making my
mouth water! |

DramaQeen's choice of crepe: honey and maple syrup crepe.. sweetness overdose! |
