The property was built in the mid-1990s as the Sijori Resort Sentosa,which was a a hotel-cum-members club. Then, it redeveloped into the Treasure Resort Hotel in 2007, before Swiss hospitality firm Movenpick took over management in 2011 and redubbed it the Movenpick Heritage Hotel. Marriott International took over and assumed operations in 2016 under its Le Meridien brand all the way till October 2020.
Oasia is the fourth name and under another management, Far East Hospitality for the nth time and it does make you wonder on the constant change of names and hands over the years. I guess you could say we've become fond of Far East Hospitality properties. So far, we've stayed there when it was Movenpick Heritage Hotel before, and we've realized we quite like the stays we've had at the other Far East Hospitality properties:

Oasia Spa is the first in Southeast Asia and Oceania to carry KOTOSHINA products (a luxury skincare brand from Kyoto), and offers treatments like cryotherapy facial and bamboo scrubs. The meditation lounge within the spa uses Medklinn Cerafusion Technology to recreate forest bathing therapy, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku.
The spa operates daily from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Upon registration, guests are directed to a cozy waiting area with some acoustic separation from the rest of the hotel. Guests complete health forms while enjoying complimentary cold towels and tea.
