As with all hotel bookings, ours came with complimentary breakfast (at
the in-house
Epice Restaurant) which was tastefully Vietnamese style
with the addition of the “
Pho Bar”, along with the other cuisines such
as Chinese, Western etc…
There was a quite a variety of food to select
from.
|
Cereals |
|
Juices (e.g. orange, guava etc...), coffee and tea |
|
Salads, fresh vegetables and rice crackers |
|
Fresh fruits |
|
Bread galore! |
|
Meats (e.g. sausages, bacon) |
|
Condiments to go with the pancakes or waffles that are cooked on the spot for you |
|
Pho Station! |

Pho condiments at the Pho Station! |
For both mornings I had my fix of freshly prepared Pho and Eggs Benedict, along with pancakes. I really wanted to try the waffles with ice-cream, but it was too early in the morning for that.
|
The pho was yummy |

There is an egg station where you can choose to get your eggs scambled, omeletted or benedicted. |
As for the decor, the restaurant was spacious and has a simple, clean-cut earth tone wood theme.

The table setting |
Service was good: plates were cleared promptly and staff were friendly (i.e. no surly looking waiters/waitresses). All in all, it was a good experience and the food was enjoyable.
