From Incheon Airport to Metro Hotel
Since our hotel,
Metro Hotel Myeongdong, was in
Myeongdong we decided to take the
Airport Bus 6015 to get there.
From Exit 5B (or Exit 11B) of the Arrival Hall of Incheon Airport we made our way to the ticket stand. It might have been around 8 in the morning, but the airport was already bustling with passengers scurry to catch the next bus into the city.

We told the counter staff that we wanted to get on Bus 6015 and head to Myeongdong |
|
The ticket cost us 14,000 won each per way |
With tickets in hand we headed towards the stand for Bus 6015. The interval for Bus 6015 is about every 20-35 minutes and it wasn't very long before our bus arrived and we happily boarded. The bus driver alighted and asked us where we were headed before tagging the luggage and loading them on board the bus. It took about 1 hour to reach our destination.
Tip: The bus stops will be announced in both
English and Korean, so no worries about missing your stop. The driver will help you with your luggage at
your destination.

From Metro Hotel to Incheon Airport
Getting back to
Incheon Airport on our last day was as simple as we had come: we walked with our somewhat more heavier luggage to the bus stop about 5-10 minutes walk away from
Metro Hotel Myeongdong. It was a relatively smooth walk as the pavement was level and it was a short distance away.
|
The bus stop: waiting in the autumn breeze is surely not fun and cold! Thank goodness the bus arrived before I turned into a icicle 😆 |
|
The bus was relatively empty at our stop, along the way to the airport, there were more passengers. |
|
From 5% filled to almost 100% full by the time we reach the airport. |

Leaving Seoul on towards the airport |
Since
Incheon Airport was the last stop (and it was in the morning), many passengers (including C and myself) were already concussed by the time the bus left for
Seoul. 😴😴 The overall journey was smooth, and with all that heavy luggage, taking the bus was definitely better than taking the
AREX. Once we reached our destination, the driver once again assisted us to get the luggage out.
