Seoul Autumn 2017 Itinerary 6D/5N: The Impromptu Feasting and Shopping Trip

It was the most impromptu trip ever planned when C convinced me to join her in Seoul for a 6 day trip to Seoul (she tempted me with free accommodation), but it will be included in the breakdown below. Long story short, after a bit of drama we bought our flight tickets via Expedia and Cheaptickets.sg respectively.

Lesson learnt: Do not buy tickets or anything for that matter after midnight and always double check the price before you pay (i.e. don't buy via Cheaptickets.sg). You can read more about the mini drama here.

Overall, it was a fruitful and fun trip as we shopped and ate our way through Myeongdong in the cold autumn breeze (it was below 10 degrees at night and went below 0 when we left). We even met up with a couple of friends in Seoul and went on day trips to Nami Island and Paju. It was truly an interesting trip as we stayed in a hotel instead of AirBnB this time, and I loved the place!

Cost Per Person (6 Days)
Flight: S$708.81
Accommodation: S$380 for 5 nights / person (which works out to be less than S$100 per night, comparable to AirBnB!)

Total = S$1688.81
