A Little Shopping at Ewha Women's University Area

After the hearty meal of ginseng chicken at Tosokchon, we made our way to the subway to catch the train to Ewha Women's University to do a little shopping. Ewha Woman’s University (Korean: 이화여자대학교, Hanja: 花女子大學校) is a private women's university located in central Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the city's largest institutions of higher learning and currently the world's largest female educational institute, and is one of the best-known universities in South Korea.

We are here again! :)

Being near a university (and a women’s one no less), the area around it is known as Ewha Woman's University Fashion Street. So expect lots of shops (and departmental stores) selling clothes, accessories, cafés, skincare, beauty salons and shoes – all catered to the preferences of (young) women.

One of the plus points about this place is that the products sold here are pretty affordable (with majority of the clientele being students that’s a given). But while the clothes are affordable, the quality of the cloth is literally what you pay for, so don’t expect the clothes that you bought to last you a long time (they just aren’t made that way - well most of them anyways).

Unlike the last time where I spent almost a day exploring the Ewha Woman's University area, this time together with C and M, we just walked around and entered any shops we fancied! It was a short(er) trip, but a fruitful one nonetheless. M bought a pair of shoes, while I went (almost) all out getting accessories and caps. All in all it took us about 3 hours to get the stuff we wanted before we decided to head to Myeongdong for even more shopping!

On our way back to the subway station, I spotted Gong Cha!!! So of course we went in to rest our feet and get a cuppa
