Chocolate Ville (Bangkok)

Want to step into another world with windmills, a mini harbor with boat, and other interesting monuments in a village like setting? Than Chocolate Ville might be the place to visit if you happen to be in Bangkok.

Apparently,  Chocolate Ville is a new unique design restaurant which features a small European village, much more like a theme park, with the concept of "Dining in the Park".

The map, which only looks promising for photos and food.

We were brought here after our visit to Safari World to take a breather, a couple of photos and explore the place a little before dinner (not at Chocolate Ville). While I can't say much about the food (which doesn't seem to be that spectacular or that fantastic), I would say that this place is a pretty good place to take photos and selfies/wefies. All the photos you see are of the buildings and monuments outside Chocolate Ville. While inside, there are not too bad candy-colored (but empty) shops and a mini-habor with boat, I didn't bother taking any photos once the 'sparkle' of the fun outside Chocolate Ville faded.

However, other than that, it was nothing impressive. Most of the buildings were 'dummes' a.k.a they were just empty on the inside while the outside looked interesting and tempting. All that Chocolate Villie is a an 'empty' village with only one functional restaurant (of course there are the restrooms, which are pretty clean and nice looking). Having just 1 functional restaurant, calling the place where the restaurant resides Chocolate Ville, and not utilizing all that empty 'space' is just such a waste. It could have been so much more and seriously, with a name like Chocolate Ville, it would be nice if the place actually has some chocolates (a factory or dessert shop or dishes) to reflect it's name.

Seriously not worth making the effort to go down to this place (it's far from the city center), unless you just happen to be passing through (just like we were that day). Of course, if you want some Instagram-worthy photos than this is one place you can consider visiting.
