Pal Ja Mak Chang (팔자막창) - HaHa's (Running Man) Korean BBQ Restaurant

Update (2014): The restaurant is still at the same address, but the name and decor has changed. It is now known as Restaurant 401 and has more of a Jamaican theme to it rather than a Running Man theme. Food is more or less the same with BBQ being the main.

If you are on a celebrity hunt, into food (not to mention crazy about Running Man), and happen to be in the Hongdae area (of course you could always make the trip down) you should visit HaHa's Korean BBQ Restaurant Pal Ja Mak Chang (팔자막창). Getting there might not be so straight forward (I just followed DramaQueen heh). You could follow the instructions from this blog or just use your GPRS (Google Maps rule! - I'm tech like that). Who knows you might even bump into the man himself (HaHa is said to often visit his restaurant at night and sometimes even serve the customers personally!).

Simple menu (I think the prices are pretty reasonable)

After meandering our way through Hongdae, we finally arrived at  Pal Ja Mak Chang (팔자막창), supposedly famous for their Mak Chang (팔자) - pork intestine! Now I am not a connoisseur of pork intestine, but according to DramaQueen the pork intestine was nice and chewy. We had Doenjang Jjiga, Mak Chang (팔자) and pork slices.

Nice of them to do the grilling for us.

Steaming hot Doenjang Jjigae! Yummy yummy ^^

True to the HaHa's "Running Man" background, waiters and waitresses alike bustle about the packed and busy restaurant in Running Man style, nametags and outfits like they are ready to run away any moment. ㅋㅋㅋ

Of course the restaurant decor does not escape HaHa's affiliation with reggae either, with the walls decorated graffiti style.
